Ultra Brat Plays Nice

Capping off a great weekend Ultra Brat proves to be much the best in this years running of the Grade 111 Gallorette Stakes. The only race run on the turf at Pimlico due to relentless rain over the last few days.  Their was only one scratch out of the race – nobody knew how any of the horses would handle conditions they had never faced or were ever likely to face again. “ULTRA BRAT stalked the pace under confident handling (jockey Jose Ortiz), gained a two wide lead leaving the far turn, responded when set down in upper stretch and eagerly pulled away under vigorous rousing.”

Zandy Campbell, son of owner/breeder Alex Campbell Jr was there to lead the talented daughter of Uncle Mo into the winners circle.
