The thought came to me while I was sitting there watching Ramon sit there on Unbridled Humor – thoughts of Blackie!  He was being very patient with her – if she wanted to move forward, fine, if she wanted to stop, that was fine too!  The starters even had to push her into the gate like they used to have to do with him.  Better Talk Now was just the same on the track.  Ramon has never ridden Unbridled Humor before but he must have felt some deja vu!  Of course she runs from the other end of the pack than he did and she didn’t disappoint today.  Taking off at the start someone tried to take her on which she was having none of!  She pulled Ramon passed her and off she went in her signature front running style to take the Noble Damsel (Grade III).  She has an amazingly fast cruising speed which I guess is why she runs as she does.  Usually Graham likes his horses to switch off behind others but forget it with her!  This brought her win total to five races from six starts, her first Graded Stake.  Congratulations Live Oak Plantation for your beautiful quirky filly.{jcomments on}
