Very keen in his first race in the United States, Utmost settled behind the leader and favorite today and bided his time until ‘go’.  Never celebrate until they cross the line, that’s what I’ve learned as although he seemed to have the better of his rival, his rival fought back for a while.  Utmost kept to his task though as he likes distance and crossed the wire a length in front in the Grade 2 Sky Classic at Woodbine.    It’s the third year in a row we’ve won it, 2016 with Messi and last year with Can’thelpbelieving.  Safe to say we like this race!  Congratulations to owner and breeder George Strawbridge, Jr.   Graham also trained his dam Fugitive Angel so it’s always very rewarding to have the progeny to come around and win like that.
