I was showing visitors the horses and missed the race but I was told that Walk Softly won by a ‘country mile’ today at Atlantic city!  The short meet of about a week is always popular with the Mid-Atlantic trainers as it’s a grass course that’s used just for this time.  Obviously Walk Softly liked it and the official chart was just published and her country mile was 9 lengths!  Congratulations to Ken Tomlinson of Sandy Bayou Stables.  He knows I call his filly Miss Quack Quack as this is what she does.  I’ve never heard anything like it before!{jcomments on}
