Warming Sizzles in Delaware Win

WARMING launched down the stretch like a heat-seaking missile to score her second career win at Delaware Park this afternoon. Samuel Marin had the call for the 8 1/2 optional allowance on the turf for the field of ten 3-year-old fillies.

They sat mid-pack down the backstretch in the paceless contest, and it appeared she was hopelessly bogged down behind the leaders coming out of the final turn; they certainly weren’t coming back to her. The announcer’s animated call was fun to hear:

“Warming’s in a stack of trouble and needs to get out of that traffic jam and is trying to close in……Warming is dipped out five wide at the top of the stretch….Warming is closing in, but way too little too late. Here comes Warming…..here’s the photo – WARMING!”

Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners purchased her from the 2024 OBS March Two-Year-Olds in Training sale for $100,000. Bred in Kentucky by M. Auerbach, LLC, she is by multiple graded stakes winning millionaire Global Campaign out of the Unusual Heat mare Haute Style.

Congrats to her connections!
