It is official.  A 5.9 magnitude.  Apparently the epicenter was in Virginia but it was still pretty strong here!  Funny the things you think though when you don’t know what’s happening.  The lawn mowers were outside and I thought “Wow, they’re making a lot of vibration today!”  Then I heard some kicking in the barn and I thought “Who’s kicking that hard they’re making the office vibrate!”  I finished what I was doing and went into the barn (my office is on the end) and everyone had their heads out wondering what was going on obviously.  Hoppy, our therapist was looking up and she told me the center beam had been swaying.  Thankfully, it didn’t last too long and everybody and horses are fine but I’ve never been in an earthquake before.{jcomments on}
