After having a break for six months Autobahn Legend came back and won at Presque Isle last night. He is from a multiple Graded Stakes family so let’s hope he goes onwards from here. Congratulations to Live Oak Plantation.

Pearl Turn
Pearl Turn came to us from England in July and has already proven herself to like the dirt. Her races in England gave her experience but not the surface she likes. She’s by Bernardini so it makes sense. She won handily today at Delaware. Congratulations to Pearl Bloodstock Limited.
Five for First Whippoorwill
I always remember Ken Tomlinson saying when she came to us that she was out of his favorite mare Lonesome Sound, so she is very special to him. She has paid him back handsomely by winning her fifth race today. In fact, out of the 15 races she’s run, she’s only been out of the […]
Fourth win for Shetan
Mr. Henry Elser who has been a stalwart of the Pennsylvania breeding scene for many years is still winning races! Shetan won for him today at Parx. Well ridden by Matt Rispoli, he bided his time behind a fast pace to come with a lovely clear run down the outside of the field. Congratulations to […]
Helm
Turf bred by Henrythenavigaor out of a Kendor mare, Helm appears to like the Presque Isle Downs surface too. He won his second race up there last night. He won his first race by 4 3/4 lengths and last night it was 6 lengths. Congratulations to owner and breeder George Strawbridge, Jr.
Tessa meets Animal Kingdom
Tessa Hetherington worked here for six weeks during the summer as a Darley Flying Start trainee. She heard so much from everyone about Animal Kingdom and she finally got to meet him herself while on the next part of the course in Australia. She says “He looks great – still much more like a racehorse […]
Omnibus Stakes
Valiant Girl won her first Stake for us since coming from the UK. She had previously won an allowance race and this was her first run in a Stake. Very exciting, especially as she broke the track record. If I’m right I think it was the first ride that Forest Boyce has had for us […]
Belvoir cross country
Last year at this time Belvoir was in Saratoga to run. He had an injury so Mr. Shields gave him time off and asked us to find him a home. This is him a year on, still only 4……. Belvoir Emily Siegrist’s e-mail relates: Attached is a video of Belvoir’s first xcrty school. He was […]
Two again!
It was lovely to have 2 winners again yesterday, one at Presque Isle and a first timer at Penn National. Forward Thinker was winning his third race in a row at Presque Isle and Thorin was winning his first race in his first try at Penn National. Congratulations to both George Strawbridge, Jr., and Ralphy […]
Queenie’s Song
Queenie’s Song is one for one! She shipped to Presque Isle for the surface and the longer distance of a mile first time out, which was what she needed. Congratulations to Baumann Stables, for whom she is our first runner.
