on her third try. The first two tries yielded seconds – really good seconds (except for the first one she was disqualified)! but today on the slop she did it! This was her third running surface in as many starts; polytrack, turf and dirt. Even though there were a few scratches it was still a […]

Third winner of the day
The third winner was Tell Me Everything, a filly beautifully bred by Pin Oak Stud, by Giant’s Causeway out of Stakes winner Confessional (who Graham also trained). I missed the race but it seems she ducked out at the wire so don’t know what caught her eye. Congratulations to Pin Oak Stud.{jcomments on}
Namaskara and Sharnberry
Namaskara, who is Aruna’s little sister (well, she’s not little in size, both of them are enormous)!, won her second race at Gulfstream. Ridden, as she was for her first win there by Jeremy Rose she had a good trip and held off the favorite comfortably. Sharnberry ran a great race too. She was a little […]
Wide Receiver
Stakes placed Wide Receiver won his second race today at Gulfstream Park, his first win on the turf. His previous win was on the Presque Isle Tapeta, as was his Stakes place. Congratulations to owner/breeder Mr. George Strawbridge, Jr.{jcomments on}
Table Three Ten
I have no idea how she came by her name but it’s rather intriguing! She romped home in her second lifetime start today at Gulfstream Park. Her previous run at the Fair Grounds was so impressive that Team Valor International wasted no time in buying her. Good for us! Congratulations to Team Valor International.{jcomments on}

Palm Meadows photos
Carrie Gilbert from Flaxman Holdings visited Palm Meadows and took these wonderful photos. Guess who – looking adorable as always! Toby’s Corner breezing Gypsy (chestnut) and Namaskara breezing together. Don’t know if you […]
Great result!
First and second in the Kitten’s Joy Stakes. Can’t get better than that! Howe Great was first, Lucky Chappy was second. From when they were up here at Fair Hill I remember Howe Great being a bit bossy and Lucky Chappy small and sweet! Both are owned by Team Valor International and Howe Great was bred […]
Friscan wins
Friscan, running for the first time for Graham won his five and a half furlong race in good style today at Laurel. In his last race before a lay off he was third in the Bashford Manor Stakes (Grade III) so we knew he had ability. Congratulations to Dunbarton Stables, LLC for this nice son […]
Champion!
It was the second year in a row I had a near sleepless night after the Eclipse Awards through excitement! Last year was Zenyatta winning Horse Of The Year and this year of course Animal Kingdom winning three year old male. We’d all been watching all year after he was sidelined to see if anyone […]
