Snow bird

I suppose technically Shared Account is not a snow bird as I think they fly south for the winter but she loves the white stuff up north!  Wonder how many Breeders Cup winners get the chance to do this? Graham is getting pretty good with his phone too!{jcomments on}

Checkers

Not to be outdone, Check The Label, winner of the Grade I Garden City had a nice gallop in the snow as well. Icabad Crane is relaxing in the background!{jcomments on}

Little brother

Slew’s Answer, the younger brother of the smart Stakes performing filly Dynaslew won at first asking yesterday at Gulfstream Park.  He has been brought along slowly as he took a little longer to come to hand than his sister but it was worth waiting for!  Congratulations to Live Oak Plantation.{jcomments on}

Ready’s Vision

Ready’s Vision won easily for the second time at Laurel today.  Ridden confidently by Julian Pimentel he drew away in the stretch to win by 7 3/4 lengths.  Congratulations to Debby Oxley who also bred him.{jcomments on}

Double time

Within the space of about 5 minutes today we won two races; Toby’s Corner won at Laurel for Mrs. Dianne Cotter and The Blue God won at Tampa for Mrs. Isabelle Haskell de Tomaso.  Congratulations to both ladies! I hadn’t noticed that the clock in the office had stopped so if someone hadn’t very kindly […]

Second Annual Herringswell Awards

Jockey Of The Year: Ramon Dominguez Dominguez, a leading candidate for the Eclipse award, grabs his first Herringswell award in 2010. Dominguez’s Herringswell record for 2010 was 11-for-43 for a sensational 26%. Dominguez coupled up with Check the Label to capture three graded-stakes (including the Grade I Garden City). He also piloted rising-star Aruna to […]

Let’s Do It

did it rather well today at Gulfstream Park for Airdrie Stud.  He gave us our first winner at the new meet that started yesterday.  Well done Let’s Do It and congratulations to Brereton Jones.{jcomments on}

Happy New Year

Especially happy as Dynamic Holiday won the Tropical Park Oaks at Calder.  First run of the new year was a Stakes win!  Many congratulations to George Strawbridge, Jr, owner and breeder.{jcomments on} Final turn photo by Jim Lisa photos

Welcome home present

Icabad Crane gave Graham a welcome home present this afternoon by winning the Alex M. Robb Stakes at Aqueduct.  Ridden for the third time by Rajiv Maragh (who seems to have quite a rapport with him actually); he was at the back of the pack, moved up gently, looked for a gap, went through it […]
