After just missing out over 5f on her first start Alda ran 6f today and won nicely. The first two were very fast over the distance so it gave her a nice lead to aim at and she was going away at the wire. Congratulations to owners and breeders Wertheimer et Frere.

Mean Mary Fourth In A Row
Yesterday she won her fifth race out of seven starts, fourth in a row, to take the Grade 2 New York Stakes by five and a half lengths, leading every step of the way, which is exactly what she likes to do. This was her easiest victory it seemed and she’s won from one mile […]
Anima Gemella Wins First Race
Anima Gemella and Sharing grew up together at Sagamore Farm so it’s pretty cool they ended up in the same barn! This was her third start yesterday (first for us) and she got off the mark with a nice win at Laurel. Congratulations to owners Coteau Grove Farms.
Fused
The Laurel turf looked gorgeous today and it was the first time that Fused tried it. He liked it enough to notch up his first win, under Trevor McCarthy. Congratulations to owners and breeders Flaxman Holdings Ltd.
Bredenbury Wins Lady Shipman Stakes
An $18,000 purchase as a yearling in England, Bredenbury won her first Stake today; the Lady Shipman Stakes at Belmont by a decent margin of one length and a quarter. Her earnings are now over $67,000 so she has rewarded her owner Andrew Stone in spades. Congratulations to them both! Photo credit Elsa Lorieul, Coglianese […]
Terrific Run By Sharing
Facing things she hasn’t faced before, keeping right when she left the gate, right hand turn half way through the race, good to soft ground, uphill finish. It was a true test over a mile in the Group 1 Coronation Stakes against the top fillies in Europe. She chased home a winner who obviously will […]
Ratajkowski Wins Critical Eye Stakes
She’s been measured at 17.1 hands high so I’m sure she’s a very formidable opponent in a race and her long stride is a great asset. She led wire to wire in her Stake yesterday at Belmont to win comfortably. She didn’t start her career until she was five but certainly made up for lost […]
More Cat’s Pajamas
It was her second win for us from two starts and it appears she is also a battler as she fought her way to the finish line like a pro. We had her mum Worthy Cat who was as tough as they come so it seems to have rubbed off, in a good way. Congratulations […]
Smile Bryan
Named after a good friend of the owners Smile Bryan seems to have found his comfort level on the grass. Previously he’s run well on the dirt and a good second in his one turf start, but after today’s three and a half length win over a longer distance at Belmont, he showed he really […]
Maryland Mo
He had his first race in October of last year on the dirt and ran a creditable third. Today was his 2020 debut and he won very nicely on the grass, capably ridden by Trevor McCarthy. Congratulations to owner Albert Frassetto and have to mention the breeders too as they are also owners of ours, […]
