Can’t really remember how he got that nickname but it’s what a lot of us call Can’thelpbelieving! He came back yesterday at Parx after a six month lay-off and won nicely for his owner Albert Frassetto. Congratulations to Al and his son John. They bought Can’thelpbelieving from Ireland and like him so much they […]

Touch Of Class
The 81st running of the Fair Hill Races took place on Saturday; about 16,000 spectators who appeared to thoroughly enjoy the gorgeous afternoon were on hand. After the third race, the Maryland Horse Industry Board presented four Touch of Class Awards (pictured above), an award named in honor of Touch of Class, a former Maryland-bred […]
Tess and Twitter
Visitors on Saturday caught Baby Twitter hitching a ride on Mom, Tess. If Dad, Tom is anything to go by Twitter will have a blatant disregard for barn rules.
Dance With Ron
By More Than Ready out of Bachata, whom Graham used to train, Dance With Ron carried on the family’s winning ways by striding out nicely on the sealed dirt track at Pimlico. One of her owners, Shane Finemore, had flown in with his family to watch her run. Odaria Finemore took the photo below. Congrats […]
Icabad Crane Finishes Third at Fair Hill
As well as our runners at Pimlico this weekend Icabad Crane finished third on Sunday at Fair Hill. This is his second attempt at Preliminary level eventing. It was 2008 when he ran in the Preakness where he finished third to Big Brown. Obviously he’s a pretty talented guy.
Almost Third-itis
Although we didn’t have another winner today after My Team won his race, we had plenty of third-place action with All I Karabout, Donworth and Up With The Birds each hitting the board to show in their respective stakes. Interrupted was also third in her allowance race at Churchill. Eastern Belle, however, saved the day with […]
My Team
Nice start to our second day at Pimlico with My Team taking the maiden on the turf. Previously he’s run on dirt and this was a big jump up in better company on the turf. Congratulations to Ralphy Meahjohn and his family who were at Pimlico. They came to see their filly Fortune Pearl run […]
Another for Sagamore
Charm City Girl made it a double for her connections as she just won a nice allowance race at Pimlico. She showed her grit and determination as she was all but beaten and fought back to get her head in front at the wire. This is lovely for local owners Sagamore Farm of Glyndon, Maryland; every […]
Hilltop Win
Miss Temple City added the Hilltop Stakes at Pimlico today to her resume. Although it wasn’t Graded and she has previously been Graded Stakes placed, it was her first Stakes win, the race was very competitive and John Velazquez rode her with confidence. Many congratulations to owners Sagamore Form, Allen Rosenblum and The Club Racing. […]
Jane Peterson and Classic Oversight
After a ten-month break, Jane Peterson was back in great form yesterday at Pimlico to win her first race off the layoff. She has now won three races from nine starts, finishing out of the top three in only two of those starts. Congratulations to Terry Murray and Paul Braverman. We also had our first starter (in […]
