In her second career start, Pin Oak Stud homebred GOOD BYTES broke her maiden today at Delaware Park. She debuted there on June 11, finishing fourth. Martin Chuan was aboard today for the maiden special going about a mile on the turf.

She had plenty of Fair Hill company, as trainers Mike Stidham, Michael Matz and Juanita Bennett had runners in as well. Good Bytes went off as the 4/5 favorite in the field of eight fillies and mares.

She’s easy to spot – a bright chestnut (let’s hear it for redheaded girls!) with plenty of chrome. Now 3, she is by Constitution out of Querelle, by Violence. Graded stakes placed, Querelle was purchased by Pin Oak for $700,000 with Good Bytes in utero at the 2022 Keeneland November Breeding Stock sale.
