How long have you worked for Herringswell Stables? 

I’ve worked for Herringswell full-time for just over two years, but I’ve been around in some way shape or form since 2021.

How did you become involved with horses?  

My mother trains steeplechase horses in England and so I was always surrounded by horses from day one.

What was your first racing-related job? 

Outside of helping my mother with her horses – which I did since I could hold a muck fork – I was an apprentice jockey to Simon and Ed Crisford in Newmarket, England.

What is your favorite racing memory? 

My favorite racing memory is being at Newmarket and watching Frankel win his first British Classic in the 2011 Two Thousand Guineas. He was so far clear at the 1/2 mile pole the crowd erupted in applause, because it was clear he wasn’t just going to win, but that he was something out of the ordinary.
