Out of the stalwart Stakes winning mare Emotional Storm, Emotional Rescue is her last foal to race. She is now retired and living the life at one of the KY TRF facilities.
From the start ER was a big, gentle giant. Taking a while to come to hand he started on the dirt as. a four year old – which he didn’t like! He then switched to the grass and although a lot more talented on that surface he was a ‘bleeder’ and required more and more lasix to race. When a horse gets to that stage it’s best to retire them and find a new career, which High Five Stables always do.
He has found a wonderful home with Amanda Smith in Ipswich, MA where he is learning to drag hunt. He’s already got lots of friends! He’s on the right..
