Fox Haven Horse Farm welcomed Excuse My Charisma, now Lily, in October of 2019 as a three year old, just a few days after her last career start. Whoever named this girl hit the nail on the head – she has a presence about her! We got Lily with the goal of bringing her to the 2020 Retired Racehorse Project Thoroughbred Makeover, which was to be our first time going to the event.
The 2020 Makeover was unfortunately postponed to 2021, but on the bright side it allowed Lily some much needed time to relax, grow, and enjoy being a horse. Now four, she has matured beautifully and is a sweetheart of a mare. She has a lovely way of going under saddle and has now started training towards a second career in the hunters. We plan to be showing in the 2020 horse division at the RRP MegaMakeover in October of 2021 and we’re excited to get her in the show ring locally this spring!
