High Stock was imported from his birth place in England as a two year old with high hopes for a good racing career over here. He ran quite competitively for seven races, winning one and being placed but was then injured and it was decided to retire him.
High Stock (Stocky) has landed at Lillibet Motion’s ELM Equestrian. located on the historic property of Oak Spring, once owned by Paul Mellon and now owned by Jill and Alex Vogel. ‘Stocky’ will have the summer to enjoy some downtime in the rolling Virginia hills (he’s turned out in a 10 acre paddock)!, before diving into his next career as a show hunter. He is already a barn favorite and never one to pass up a good scratch!
