A winner of only 4 races but multiple placed finishes. Doesn’t sound too good? Pretty much all of his races were in Graded Stakes and apart from being placed in most, he won a Grade 1!!
Having sustained a suspensory injury in the middle of 2024 it was decided he’d been an amazing servant and to retire him. Eclipse Thoroughbreds gave him a whole year off to recover and enjoy life. Now to look for a great home and that came in the form of a 14 year old girl in New York whose mother was a top class dressage rider and now has a lovely barn with clients. All of her the horses her daughter had ridden had always been horses who were boarded there and some that eventually went for sale. Scout was a surprise and he was her own horse!!
Her wrote after a few days that Scout was in love with her daughter and she absolutely loved him back!

“Scout and my daughter Oneida are the best duo and he is such a sweetheart. He’s getting solid at his WTC and goes for hacks, over poles and even plays with the huge ball in the indoor and goes over the tarp. He is just the best friend my daughter needed and everyone who meets him is ‘wow, where did you get him’.”
