Two For Two For Oyster Box

As hoped after her break since her first run and win back in October at Belmont, Oyster Box followed up today with the professionalism she’s shown at home, to win a nice allowance level race at Tampa, ridden ably by Daniel Centeno.  Congratulations to owners and breeders Gainesway Farm.

Hats Off To True Valour

Normally just the winners get a mention but True Valour ran a cracker today in the Grade 2 Joe Hernandez at Santa Anita to finish second over a fast run six and a half furlong trip.  He took a much longer route that the winner but that’s racing.  Happy New Year to Larry Johnson! Photo […]

Jimmy P

Not quite sure who he is named after but Jimmy P broke his maiden at Tampa this afternoon, capably ridden by Daniel Centeno.  He’s out of the first crop of regally bred Slumber who will most likely make a top class turf stallion.  Congratulations to owners and breeders Head of Plains Partners & Madaket Stables
