Dede had ability but kept having to have time off for bone bruising (which is very common). As she was coming into her fourth year with just one run under her belt the owners decided not to breed her but to find her a caring, loving home, which she did with Christina Lynch and her two girls, Catherine and Emma.
She is stabled at a farm near her Mother actually who has been retired to the Foster Mare Program of KY. Maybe she’ll see her over the fence?!
Dede is going to be turned out with a couple of broodmares and be re-trained hopefully as a show horse and/or hunter as Christina hunts regularly. When the girls are a little older she’ll be ready for them!
