After a few niggly problems which prevented him getting to the races, it was decided to retire him and find him a home – which happens to be local! Harper McVey who literally works on the edge of the Fair Hill Training Center has him and right now he’s turned out in a field with new friends. He’s very camera savvy as you can see from the photos below, and very sweet with his new friends!

He’s now settled in……update June 30th, 2021
Buck is doing great! He really is the sweetest horse — I’m so happy to have him! He lives out in the big field full-time and loves playing with his friends. I’ve also ridden him a few times now and he couldn’t have been more perfect. I’ve attached several photos here.
