It took six tries and a couple of ‘nearly’s’ but Howard got the job done today Pimlico. It looks a lovely sunny afternoon there and just an hour north here at Fair Hill it’s overcast and chilly! He has just raced three times but has won two of those races. Last night was his first try on the Tapeta at Presque Isle which he seemed to like just as well as he does training on it here at Fair Hill. Congratulations to owner George Strawbridge, Jr.
Baseline
With poor Trevor McCarty on the sidelines Javier Castellano took over the ride today at Belmont to win on Baseline, who ran a very determined race to win his first race by half a length. He is by Bellamy Road and looks very like him. Congratulations to West Point Thoroughbreds.
