New Pioneer was unraced as he was hard to keep sound as he had extra knee bones and an extra split bone. Very unusual! The vets said he’d be fine for another career away from racing so he went to Sarah Nelson in North Carolina who runs an Equestrian Center. He’s settled in very well and although she is not doing too much with him yet he looks very happy!
