Sallal came from England and ran three times including a win before sustaining a tendon injury, prompting retirement. After spending a few months at a local lay up farm Dale and Dorothy Simanton from Gate To Great very kindly said they would adopt him. They have re-named him King and will give him probably six months or so of extra turn out before starting him back, but Dale did cheat the other day and put on a saddle (for just 10 minutes) to see how he worked with a rope. He loved him! Can’t wait to see how he progresses when he’s ready.
